Spanish is a very useful language to learn. You will be giving your child a significant advantage by helping them to learn it now. SEF provides beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of Spanish classes. Classes are offered in elementary schools, as well as private tutoring, for kids 5 year and older.

This Spanish program for children, created by SEF, gets children involved in conversational Spanish from the first class. Kids will learn this new language skill through interactive exercises, games, videos, songs and role playing. Our goal is for the child to learn and speak Spanish and prepare them to communicate with Spanish speakers everywhere.


Before /After School programs

SEF offers Before and After School Programs in elementary schools K- 5th grades. We are currently working with 11 schools in Boulder County and we have 240 students. We offer beginning, intermediate and advanced levels in a packet of 20 classes, 1hr each.

We offer:
  • A qualified Spanish teacher who will provide a dynamic and interactive language course. Children will practice conversation through the use of interactive exercises, visual vocabulary techniques and skits, which involve role-playing.
  • 20 sessions; 60 minutes each, focusing on conversation, listening, grammar, and writing.
  • Children will obtain an overview of Latin American culture, customs, and traditions.
  • We will provide a booklet and audio CD to each participant. This book contains illustrated words, phrases and sentences in different tenses, and expressions common to a child's daily vocabulary.

Tutoring

We have experienced and certified instructors who can meet your child at home at your most convenient time! Our tutoring service is very flexible in terms of scheduling and curriculum. You decide how many lessons you would like to schedule for your children.

Class Materials

We will provide a colorful booklet and audio CD to each child. This booklet contains writing, listening, songs, grammar and exercises. Each booklet covers an entire Spanish level. Booklet cost: $18

Lesson cost:
$38 for 1 hr private lesson (1 child)
$50 for 1 hr private lesson (2 children)
$60 for 1 hr private lesson (3 children)
