Title: CEO / Spanish communications specialist

Jay Julio Cesar Minaya was born in Lima, Peru. He moved to the United States to pursue his Business Administration Diploma at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He graduated in 2005 and worked in the mortgage and banking industry in large firms for two years in Boulder area. But his passion for teaching his native language made him pursue his dream of opening his own language school.

His goal is to help English speakers to learn Spanish to enhance their travel experiences, and enable them to communicate with more people. "There are so many English language courses offered to non-English speaking people who come to the USA but you find only a few efficient Spanish courses which are directed at English speakers" "I wanted to change that , now through SEF you can find a variety of Spanish lessons for almost every need". Jay developed his own methods for teaching Spanish. He created the "fun method" which combine with his fresh style it makes the learning experience very enjoyable. Jay also teaches this Spanish method through Bolder Languages and the Longmont Free University. Today Jay Minaya is the President and one of the instructors at Spanish Easy and Fun.

Name: David Minaya

Title: SEF Program Coordinator / Spanish Communications Specialist

Services Offered: Spanish instructor for adults, organizations and private tutoring, translation and interpretation. David also offers a cultural approach in all his classes.

David was born in Lima, Peru. He holds an Architect bachelor degree from the Ricardo Palma University. Besides his responsibilities as program coordinator David continues to teaching Spanish at SEF to stay close to the needs of our students. In his free time David enjoys cooking Peruvian and Italian dishes and presenting at art galleries.

Name: Caroline Cotter

Title: Spanish and English Communications Specialist

Services Offered: Beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish lessons in group classes for adults and businesses, tutoring, Spanish for children, and English lessons.

Caroline grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and then went to college in Maine where she studied Art, Spanish, and Education. She has studied and taught in countries all over the world and came to Colorado last summer to work with study Educational Psychology. Caroline loves music, singing, playing the guitar and writing songs, art, practicing yoga, playing outside, and traveling
